The Holy Angels Class of 2017 bid farewell to the “house where love can grow” on June 2nd, a day filled with memories of their days at Holy Angels. The day began with a breakfast hosted by the parents of the graduates. Eighth grade homeroom teacher Seth Breunig presented a glimpse of the future as her attempted to predict where the graduates would go in life.
Subject area awards were present by the junior high teachers, followed by a number of special plaque awards which have a lengthy history at the school. After the morning event, soon-to-be-graduates enjoyed watching a video history of their years together.
In the evening, a graduation Mass concluded with the awarding of diplomas and more student recognitions. Following Mass, family and friends gathered in the Walnut Room for a reception and photo-ops. The Class of 2017 then partied with music, food and other activities.
