Members of HAS-HOPE (Holy Angels School Helping Other People and the Environment) met recently to begin preparations for their reaching out to others. The traditional “feast day of love”, otherwise known as St. Valentine’s Day, provides the perfect opportunity to show some love and care.
The group spent some after-school time making decorations for a local senior care facility. Hearts, hearts, and more hearts will surely brighten the mood for many senior residents.
In addition, the group is planning a “play date” with residents of Ivy Manor. They will spend some time with the residents, playing games and sharing stories with the seniors.
