The junior high concluded the school year with retreats to various sites in the archdiocese. The sixth graders traveled to the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist and St. Josaphat’s Basilica. The cathedral is the “mother church” for the Milwaukee Archdiocese where the cathedra (or chair) of the archbishop is located. St. Josaphat is one of two basilicas in the state. The other basilica, at Holy Hill (left), was the destination for the seventh graders. After climbing the hill and following the Stations of the Cross, the students presented this year’s Prayer Board intentions at the prayer chapel. The eighth graders took time to reflect on their journey through Holy Angels at the TYME-OUT Retreat Center.
