Knights, squires, peasants, butchers, clergy and even a juggler and crowned royalty! The sixth grade social studies classes recently completed their study of time known as the Middle Ages. The students built a replica of a medieval town complete with shoppes and a May Pole.
Following a procession of characters, visitors heard about life in the Middle Ages, listened to songs and instrumentals of period music, and viewed the May Pole dance. As the Star Band provided background music, guests were able to sample the wares of the various merchants and vendors.
