The students of Holy Angels spent the school year creating a renewed spirit which continued throughout the annual Olympic Day. Blessed with superb weather, the event provided a wide range of activities for students in grades K5 through seven (the eighth graders had already graduated).
Students enjoyed the traditional events such as sprints, long jump and high jump. They also participated in not-so-traditional scooter races, suitcase relays, fast pitch, and (for the seventh graders) the “disposal of the water” from the water relay. Students even filled the grounds and area sidewalks with original designs (too bad it rained shortly after).
